Rough Trade has announced its top 100 albums of 2021, led by Dry Cleaning’s debut New Long Leg. To celebrate, the indie retailer is selling exclusive vinyl pressings tied to the top 20 albums on its list. Featured are new offerings from St. Vincent, Cassandra Jenkins, L’Rain, Madlib, Japanese Breakfast, and more. Find the list of exclusives below.
On Thursday, November 18, Dry Cleaning will play a special live show at the Rainbow Room in New York’s Rockefeller Center. The Muckers will open the show, which also features a DJ set by 4AD artist Spencer. Tickets are free with the in-store purchase of Dry Cleaning’s new Rough Trade–exclusive Tascam Tapes 12″ vinyl.
“Rough Trade record shops have played a huge role in our musical lives,” Dry Cleaning said in a statement. “It is an amazing feeling to have had their support and to be their album of 2021 amid such a great year for music.”
