Black Tunes Pageant coming to Worcester Common

Jazz, rock, and hip-hop all grew from African-American roots, while Afrobeats and Jamaican dancehall can also be listened to on the area airwaves. All these genres and far more will be the center of the Black Songs Pageant, set for June 24 on the Worcester Prevalent.

The Black New music Pageant will attribute performances from Worcester hip-hop fixtures Ladii Female and Huge Nate All Star, the latter of whom went on tour across the country final summer months with the Wu-Tang Clan and Nas.
