February 1, 2023 Washington, D.C. – NPR Tunes is celebrating Black Background Month with loads of specific programming and seven new Very small Desk live shows that includes legends and emerging stars in R&B, jazz, gospel, Afrobeats, rock and hip-hop. The celebration kicks off nowadays, February 1, with a performance from Lady Wray.
